With Oxygen Updater, you'll be one of the first users to update your Oxygen OS device to the latest and greatest software for free!
Oxygen Updater allows you to be the first to see information about Oxygen OS system updates and directly install*(2) them on your device.
No more waiting until you receive a system update notification weeks later, just update every time a new update is released.
(requires an active Internet connection).
When a new update becomes available, you will be notified.
You can then open the application to download and install*(2) the new system update.
Additionally, this app provides a quick overview of your device's specifications, including your current Android and Oxygen OS version, amount of storage (RAM), security update date, and your device's processor.
You will be asked to select your device and update the method during the first launch.
These are usually set to the correct values, but you can change them to your liking.
There are three different update methods:
- Full update: an update package that always works, regardless of the current OS version.
- However, these updates are very large to download.
- Only recommended if you have root access, as incremental updates are not compatible in this case.
- Incremental update. Additional update packages are smaller update packages designed only to update the current system version of your device.
- These updates have a much smaller download time, so they are recommended for use when you don't have root access.
- Community Edition (Beta): Are you using the Community version of OxygenOS?
- Then you can also install updates using this application.
- Especially convenient for users with root access.
